Ellie paints on a variety of furniture, especially children furniture such as
step stools,
benches,
foot stools,
coffee tables,
chairs,
tables,
nightstands,
youth chairs,
desks,
kid's rockers,
armoires,
beds,
high chairs,
mirrors,
bar stools,
bookcases,
TV Cabinets,
headboards, screens and more...
A wee piece of ellie's heart is given to every piece she paints. It all starts as an unfinished, unassembled blank puzzle. The pieces are first given a coat of primer and then sanded down to produce a smooth canvas. After letting her thoughts bubble around, the jumbled ideas come flooding out of ellie's mind. Using a paintbrush and non toxic acrylic paints the piece starts to come alive. Once complete the item is given at least three coats of a sealer. The sealer protects the newly decorated treasure which can be passed down for generations.
FYI! The piece once sealed can be wiped down with a damp cloth. If it has smudges or fudges from the little ones you can use a kitchen cleaner such as 409.
